Our History
The Connellsville Police Auxiliary was established in 1990 in it's present capacity by Clarence L. (Butch) Spackman and former Police Chief Barry Noel. It was constructed to operate as a branch of the Connellsville Police Department for the purpose of providing valuable back-up services for the Connellsville Police Department within the community when extra officers are required. Since it's establishment, the Connellsville Police Auxiliary has successfully been able to relieve police officers under the department from event services in which allowed them to respond to higher prioritized services much more efficiently. Our organization has been able to establish safety protocol during various events held annually throughout the city and provide valuable services to neighboring communities during their events where they required extra officers to assist.
